When class resumes in September, the Government of Ontario plans to allow parents to choose in-class or online learning for their children. The school safety plan also includes guidelines for mental health support and student transportation. Depending on the public health concerns posed by COVID-19, your school board may plan for the following scenarios:

  1. “Normal school day routine”: students attending school everyday with normal class sizes and public health measures,
  2. “Modified school day routine”: each classroom may include 15 students and follow modified timetables to limit contact with students outside of their classmates and teacher,
  3. “At home learning”: largely conducted online and students should have regular contact with their teacher.
