Children with diabetes are not at higher risk of getting COVID-19 compared to those with no diabetes. However, if your child had or likely had COVID-19, it is important to isolate yourself to slow the spread of the virus. Ending home isolation depends on different factors. The CDC has outlined recommendations when it is safe to be around others again.
